Lenovo’s North Carolina Server Expansion Moves Into Its Next Hiring Phase

With more than 400 positions filled and hundreds more expected, the Whitsett expansion shows how AI infrastructure demand is creating new electronics manufacturing opportunities.

Lenovo is scaling production and hiring at its expanded North Carolina Smart Campus in Whitsett, where the company manufactures servers and high-performance computing systems. More than 400 positions associated with the expansion have already been filled, and Lenovo expects hiring to reach approximately 1,000 new jobs as production grows.
