Insight Global is looking for Manufacturing Technicians to prepare, set up, and operate production 3D printers according to daily schedules and build configurations.

• Clean, de-powder, remove supports, or cure printed components to prepare them for assembly.
• Assemble finished dub-assemblies from printed housings, hardware, inserts, and adhesives using hand tools, and following standard work instructions.
• Inspect printed and assembled parts against specifications and CAD files, both visually and dimensionally, flagging fit issues or defects immediately.
• Perform routine printer maintenance (bed leveling, optics cleaning, sensor calibration, material changeovers) and track inventory of filament and consumable print supplies.
• Communicate fit issues or printed-part defects back through the process so print parameters and part design can be corrected at the source.

Skills and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in manufacturing. machining, or additive manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with 3D printing/filament-based additive manufacturing or mechanical assembly, or strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to be trained.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
• Comfortable following detailed written work instructions and safety procedures exactly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, remain standing or on foot for extended periods, and work overtime hours as production requires.
• Hands-on experience with filament-based 3D printing materials.
• Experience with mechanical assembly using adhesives, threaded inserts, and hand tools.
• Proficiency with digital print-prep software.
• Experience in a regulated, high-hazard, or defense manufacturing environment.
