Manufacturing Technician

Overview

Join a growing manufacturer producing highly detailed, large-scale plastic components used in industries such as:

Medical Equipment

Robotics

Transportation

As a Thermoform Process Technician , you'll work with heated plastic sheets, molds, and vacuum-forming equipment to create high-quality products.

What You'll Do

  • Manufacture large-scale plastic components

  • Operate thermoforming equipment and vacuum systems

  • Work with heated, extruded plastic sheets and single-sided molds

  • Shape and form plastic materials to specifications

  • Maintain a fast-paced, hands-on work environment

  • Ensure quality and production standards are met

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of manufacturing technician experience

Strong mechanical aptitude

Stable work history with no significant employment gaps

Experience using hand and mechanical tools, including:

  • Allen/Hex Wrenches

  • Torque Wrenches

  • Socket Wrenches

Ability to stay active and work on your feet throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

  • Machine setup

  • Automation systems

  • Injection molding

Familiarity with:

  • Plastic processing

  • Manufacturing equipment operation

Schedule

1st Shift

Monday - Friday

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • 30-minute lunch break

  • Optional Saturday overtime available

Work Environment

  • Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility

  • Comfortable working temperatures

  • Hands-on production setting

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
