Our team members are trained to work in a variety of areas in our manufacturing area. Essential Responsibilities are a combination of a machine operator and solderer Loads component reels on to SMT feeders or reel carts from kits Performs feeder set-up and parts value verification Locates stencil and assists in screen printer set-up May perform basic machine set-up, programming and assist senior Operators with daily department tasks Operates the AOI, Board Loader, Screen Printer/Paste Inspection, Pick and Place, Reflow oven and X-ray machine Tears down completed jobs and brings excess material to crib area May enter information into databases for stencils and completion of quality data (MES) for statistical process control (SPC), hourly productivity data charting May also audit kits, hand load SMT components, and work in other areas when workload is restricted General cleaning of machines and performs basic preventive maintenance (PM) May perform resistance test using a Multi Meter Accurately cut/trim/form component leads using hand cutters and forming tools Access customer prints and work instructions to install components and parts Route and attach wires to form circuitry Installation of through-hole and surface mount components (basic hand soldering) Perform visual self-inspection per IPC-610A Post-SMT hand insertion and mechanical assembly operations Perform standard rework operations Fill out and maintain rework records May be required to do 2nd inspection on others work Understand and follow requirements including but not limited to ESD, moisture sensitivity, ISO 9001, AS9100 and 13485 compliance, and ITAR compliance Ability to understand meet Quality and KPI objectives Cross train in other manufacturing areas as required Essential Responsibilities of all Beacon EmbeddedWorks employees Support, demonstrate and drive our core values Interact positively and professionally with all employees and customers Maintain reliable attendance Perform work safely and adhere to all safety requirements Complete required training as scheduled Perform other duties as assigned Beacon EmbeddedWorks is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer
