A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an PCB Design Engineer. Position Type: Full time Contract, Possible Temp to Direct. Duration: PCB Design Engineer Location: Rochester, NY 14624/ Fort Wayne, IN/ Palm Bay FL (Onsite) As an PCB Design Engineer, you will: This is an electrical engineering design position responsible for performing PCB. This team, located at multiple sites across the United States, designs PCB assemblies that are used in missions spanning across the domains our SMS segment. Designed PCB assemblies are used in space-based applications, avionics systems, and verification testing purposes. Team members will be collaborating with layout designers, electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineers to produce high-quality designs for various programs across our growing business. Essential Functions: Design Printed Circuit Boards using Siemens Xpedition CAD software. Produce and release layout files with fabrication and assembly drawings. Interpret schematic and mechanical CAD data and layout PCBs per customer requests. Collaborate with ECAD Design team and internal engineering customers. Collaborate with mechanical design engineers to ensure mechanical accuracy. Ensure PCB layout accuracy and compliance with IPC class 3 standards and follow the established design and fabrication guidelines. Preferred Additional Skills: Valor NPI experience Blueprints experience Cadence Allegro CAD software knowledge Altium and/or PADS software knowledge The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Experience creating PCB layouts using ECAD tools. Experience and knowledge of PCB design technologies for military, airborne, and space, PCB layout techniques, electrical schematics. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
