Description: A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a PCB Designer. Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire Duration: 12months Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116 ( Remote/1st Shift/7:45AM-5:30PM) As a PCB Designer you will: Design and create printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for circuit card assemblies (CCAs) based on inputs and feedback received from design engineers (electrical, mechanical) and manufacturing process engineers (MPEs). This process includes placing components within a given size envelope, routing metal traces between those parts, holding milestone reviews with stakeholders, and releasing PCB & CCA drawings. Essential Functions: Place and route components ensuring that all electrical and physical specifications meet the specific design requirements for each PCB design. Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assembly are met. Develop and generate drawings and documentation to facilitate PCB fabrication and assembly. Rework PCB designs when engineering design changes occur and assist the design team with ideas to resolve issues. Perform drawing and documentation updates per the instructions of engineering change requests. Create component ECAD library footprints and/or schematic symbols as required for design projects.
